Karan Johar released the first trailer of Hrithik starrer Agneepath, which is reportedly radically different from the original remake of critical acclaimed Amitabh's Agneepath was revealed on Monday.
Directed by filmmaker Karan Johar's former assistant, Karan Malhotra, 'Agneepath', a remake of the 1990 Hindi film.
The most awaited part of this film was the look of the Sanjay Dutt, which is damm scary was also revealed along side of Trailer. Johar posted a link of Agneepath's trailer and its launch ceremony on Twitter.
The original 'Agneepath', directed by Mukul Anand, starred Amitabh, Mithun Chakraborty, Madhavi, Rohini Hattangadi and Danny Denzongpa; and was produced by Yash Johar, Karan's late father. The original got lot of appraisal for Bachchan's performance was praised for which he and Chakraborty, supporting actor, received National award for Best Actor and Filmfare Best Supporting Actor award respectively.
In remake version you will see Hrithik reprising Bachchan's iconic role of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan, while Priyanka Chopra would be the female lead. You wont be seeing funny Mithun dada in the remake and the role of villain played by Danny Denzongpa is being essayed by Dutt. Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor will play another negative character. The remake version is said to hits cinema houses on January 13, 2012.
